I am not new to the idea or concept of blogs, but I am to the creation and curation of one. I am recently transitioned into the tech field in my professional life, though I’ve reaped the benefits and watched anxiously from the sidelines for years. I am a child of the late 90’s so I grew with technology. It has helped mold me into who I am. It is weird thinking back on my early interactions with technology and the internet. It mirrors my own growth. We both hardly resemble that of our youths. However, the internet is quite a bit older than me.
The adoption by all common people accelerated it market share for the populace’s attention and that growth; the expansion of adoption is what I grew up alongside. The world is drastically different than the world in the late 90’s. We are simultaneously more connected and disconnected than ever before. The world is weird am I am not here to make sense of all of it’s shortcomings and wonders. I am just here to figure out why I am here. I have a feeling that it is meant for a lot and I want to see what I can make of it.
Thank you for reading my ramblings. I will hopefully keep those to a minimum while posting here. I plan on using this site to document my learning and projects in the years to come. Feel free to comment and be a part of the journey. I hope that it will expand your mind to what technology is and how we can use it to advance as a people and not fall away and lose our humanity. It is a tool that is very powerful and neat and challenging and confusing but it has become so heavily intertwined in our infrastructure and lives that it cannot be ignored. I may as well jump on the train because it is not slowing down anytime soon.
